What is xylometry?

Word xylometry comes from the union of the Greek words "xylo" (wood) and "metry" (measure).
The general purpose of our activity is to contribute to the satisfaction of marketable woody resources by research, technical developments and knowledge transfer of evaluation and performance improvement methods for lumber and timber coming from tropical plantations.



Concerned wood products

Studied wood products are mainly beams of sawn timber, solid elements of all dimensions, panels, reconstituted products and utility poles.
